I’ve always said that Max Lucado has a knack for saying things I already know in a way that makes me feel as though I’ve never heard it before. He’s gifted at making me look at old truths in a new way and this book is no different. I feel enlightened and energized. By the middle of the second chapter, I’d already begun to create a list in my mind of those who I want to give this book.
Max Lucado seriously deals with numerous issues that cause many of us to be fearful including death, loss, not having enough and more. His discussion of these issues brings light and insight to our trepidation. In one chapter he equates doubt to fear and in another he shares the secret of the only rational fear.
Max Lucado didn’t let me down in this book. Once again he’s given us a book that’s easy to read and understand with insights into our Father, Christ and the Christian faith that can be life changing to those who read it. This is one of the best books I’ve read this year. I highly recommend it.
